- Make it safe. Keep children and pets back, put shoes on, and lift large pieces with gloves.
- Photograph it. Take pictures before anything is swept up or covered; your insurer may ask for them.
- Cover the opening. Heavy plastic and tape for a small break, plywood for a large or ground-floor one.
- Send a quote request marked urgent. Use the broken glass request and start your message with “urgent”. The opening can often be secured first; a made-to-size thermal unit follows later.
How we use what you send
- Your message and contact details are used to answer you. A question sent here doesn't go to a pro unless you ask us to pass it on.
- Writing to us doesn't put you on a mailing list. Tips go only to people who tick the separate box on the quote form, and each carries an unsubscribe link.

Is this site part of a Kingston window or door shop with a similar name?
No. Several local businesses trade under names close to ours, and we aren't connected to any of them. If your question is about work a particular shop did, contact that shop; we can't see its records or speak for it.
What if nobody calls me back?
Send a message with your name and the job address. We'll check with the pro, and if the request has stalled we'll pass it to another who covers your area. We can't set a pro's schedule, but we do follow up.
